Superhuman Discussion

     Share ideas of yours for superhumans (like in the Maalum series). However there is one rule. You cannot steal ideas from others without their permission. If you have an idea similar or almost the same to an already shared race, then you can send a private message (to yourself) before or after you share your ideas (before this problem happens) and then you can show a picture (with the PM date) to prove you didn't copy. Also, I recommend your superhuman is not overpowered.

Race Name: Manje

Race Nickname (insult): Meat Meanies 

Pronounced: Mah-gee

Appearance: Normal human except for their hair. The hair of a Manje is always unusual. (Ex: Pink, Orange, Purple, Blue, Etc.)

Basic Abilities (if this race is ever used there might be creative people that can think of ways to use food manipulation in a non-OP way): Taste changing, Shifting the shape of food, Spice generation (which means they can generate spices, but nothing else), Minor telekinesis over food, Food merging

Weaknesses: Manipulated food will lose durability, Energy loss, Generated spices won't be as flavorful, Telekinesis is limited, Taste change relies on food the Manje has eaten, Only foods that can be merged are foods that would taste good together


Enhanced

Basic Abilities: Very minor appearance changing, Food monster creation, Taste changing, Shifting the shape of food, Flavorful spice generation, Telekinesis over food (Can levitate food longer, Can levitate more food, Etc.), Food merging, Food durability boosting

Weaknesses: Can only make slight changes to appearances (Skin darkening/lightening, Eye color changing, Hair darkening/lightening & Nail sharpening/blunting), Energy loss, Food monsters will feed off their creator's energy fast, Taste change relies on imagination, Telekinesis is also limited, Food durability boosting won't work on food monsters


Special

An example of a "Special" Manje would be Citrelia/Cecilia. A special Manje's powers revolves around one non-OP magic power, while their other powers are not as strong.

Race Name: Flauk (Fl- ow- k)

Race Nickname: Flock

Appearance: Small but powerful wings of vibrant colors, usually wear headbands to cover the unusual scars on their foreheads. Human- colored skin. face tattoos.

Offensive Abilities: Flying, Sharp razor-like wings, if given a solid, liquid, or gas, they can ignite it into flames, little intelligence

Defensive Abilities: Flying, strong shield-like wings, which when used that way, stun the opponent, little intelligence

Physical Abilities: Grow strong and fast if charged with conductors or electricity, sharp and durable wings

Mental Abilities: little intelligence

Other Abilities: (To be determined by the user) Electric or Fire (which they use to ignite solids, liquids, or gases)

Weaknesses: Color-blind, when away from electricity or conductors, are gradually weakened

Limitations: Color-blind

Other info: Soft little weenies, claustrophobic, xenophobic

Race Name: Pesadelo

Race Nicknames: Sleep Mages, Bossy Bugs (insult)

Pronounced: Peh-zah-dee-loo

Appearance: Their hair, eyes and skin is always unusually light or unusually dark.

Basic Abilities: A Pesadelo can dive into someone's mind while sleeping, and control their dreams. A Pesadelo can read the person's mind while manipulating dreams, and can rarely cause severe brain damage.

Offensive Abilities: A Pesadelo can generate a special gas called Torpor (tore-per) that can cause the target to lose focus, go into a temporary trance and faint. Torpor will work outside too.

Weaknesses: The amount of a Pesadelo's energy determines how long the Pesadelo will remain in their victim's brain. Also, if a Pesadelo tries to enter the mind of an awakened person, they will lose a lot of energy.

Other info: A Pesadelo is a master at manipulating their own dreams at birth, though they wouldn't be able to do it until they were smarter.

It takes 30 seconds to 5 minutes for Torpor to knock someone out, depending on the Pesadelo's skill.


Enhanced

Basic Abilities: An enhanced Pesadelo has the power to live in someone's brain and influence their host's behavior. They will be like a bug, forcing you to do things, kind of like a disorder. Obviously, brain damage is easier to complete. Other then that, the powers are just the same except boosted.

Offensive Abilities: Torpor will also get enhanced when the Pesadelo does. Enhanced Torpor will skip step one and the target will instantly go into a temporary trance then faint.

Weaknesses: If a Pesadelo almost never leaves their host's brain, they will eventually be trapped in their brain forever. Another big risk is that if their host is powerful enough, they just might be able to kill the Pesadelo inside their minds (though this is incredibly hard). Besides that, the enhanced Pesadelo will also lose energy if they try to enter the mind of a conscious being.

Other info: Instead of 30 secs to 5 mins, the Torpor will take 26 seconds to 3 minutes.

Race Nicknames (insults): Mental Monsters, Physical Psychos

Pronounced: Ing-pull-so

Appearance: Normal human appearance.

Basic Abilities: An Impulso can drain physical and mental states of others and use the energy to boost themselves. They can also drain their physical and mental states and use it to boost others. They can also drain and use the energy to boost others. Impulsos can drain until the victim dies, but it will take some time and they can only do one victim at a time.

Mental Abilities: They can absorb knowledge.

Weaknesses: If an Impulso uses all their collected energy to boost one state and leave the other normal, it will be harder to boost the regular state after the boosted state is pretty useful.


Enhanced

Basic Abilities: An enhanced Impulso can boost themselves not only with animals, but other energy sources as well. They also have the ability to mass kill and boost. Mass kill allows the Impulso to drain everyone within range and mass boost allows the Impulso to boost everyone within range.

Mental Abilities: They can absorb knowledge.

Weaknesses: If an Impulso gets interrupted during their draining/boosting, they will lose all their progress and will be forced to start all over again.

Jesse James AKA Jesse Jampulso was the first enhanced Impulso. He focused his powers on draining and mass killing to get his way.
