Gamestar Forum

     Technology is taking over. It's everywhere! One of the main areas of takeover is in video games. Scientists have noticed that there's an increase in communication between gamers who don't know each other in real life. Forums, websites, chat rooms, Skype, the methods are endless.

     What if you brought a group of gamers who'd never met each other in real life, but still communicated frequently, together? How would they get along in a different environment? These scientists asked the very same questions.

     They searched the web for different groups of gamers to observe how they would react to meeting each other in person. One of the websites that grabbed their attention was Gamestar Forum. They found a way to contact our admins and see if they would agree to having the forum be apart of the experiment.

     They explained that everyone would be living in a mansion in Fallon, Nevada during the summer after a quick meet-up in Las Vegas. The scientists would pay for all the necessities, of course. The only thing that might be different is cameras in various social gathering places around the house. After consulting amongst themselves, the admins agreed to participate. However, Zen, not wanting to force anyone to participate against their will, suggested giving forum members the option of not volunteering. So, it's up to you. Will you participate?

Bio: Before joining Gamestar Forum, 9tailz lived a relatively normal life for a kid with no friends and nerdy hobbies. Now that she’s a member of it, she has even less of a social life, but now she can talk about nerdy things with other nerds and also finally watched anime! (the first anime I watched was Kill la Kill because of a post on the forum; before then I had been interested in anime but didn’t really know where to start with it) She isn’t very active on the forum, but she checks it almost every day and is always watching

9tailz is generally quiet and reserved, especially around people she doesn’t know. However, around friends and engaged in a conversation, she’s the exact opposite. Same goes for when she starts fangirling about something.

Bio: Nitrox embraces the concepts of science and rationality, and desires to use the tools that science provides to move the world forward into a golden age.  He believes that while many people are stupid and unreasonable, humanity itself has potential as long as the intelligent are at the helm.  He has anxiety issues and is very sensitive to social cues, and he prefers to think of the best solution and how to do it before jumping into action.

Bio: Widm is a box. Box is an octahedron. Octa is a fluffy cube. Fluffy Cube is a Widm. This entity often referred to as a random polyhedron was born in a land of red in the far East and has moved into the lands of the approximately UTC-5 at a non nice polyhedral sides age. Nowadays, the polyhedron doesn't want to do anything and is in forum lands to shirk work. The polyhedron believes that sitting by and letting life pass is the best method. Being passive and not doing anything is what the box does. Definitely not too lazy to act.

Leap

Leap shifted in her seat so she could stare out the window. Okay. Going rock climbing the night before a long trip was not the best idea. She rubbed her sore arms and looked at her father who also looked rather uncomfortable.

"How much longer until we get there?" She questioned.

"Less than a minute," replied the taxi driver.

Leap stared out the window as they passed many tall buildings with bright flashing lights. Soon they pulled in front of a large resort.

"Alright, we're here," the taxi driver announced while climbing out of his seat to help unpack the luggage. Leap's dad stiffly exited the cab with Leap not far behind. Leap began to roll the suitcases inside as her father paid for the taxi.

"Aria Resort and casino," Leap read off the door.

"Should we check in or would you like to wait for the rest of the people?" Leap's father asked.

"I'll wait here, but you can check in."

"Do you even know what they look like?"

"Er, sorta. I know what Ben and FF look like."

"Maybe I should wait with you..."

"Dad, I'll be fine. Besides, you probably will wanna take a nap before you head to the office."

"Alright," Leap watched as her dad walked towards the front desk. I wonder if the others are already here.
