The serpent walks on scaly legs, its arms grasping at the air.  Its tail is curled upwards into its mouth, which is constantly chewing and swallowing.  As it senses the final victor fade from his world, the last of its power returns.  This is its second-favorite part of the cycle, when its strength is powerful enough to conquer a thousand lesser Servants.  But there is no point in holding onto it: the cycle has to continue, or else its existence would be meaningless.  Ruler bites down harder on its tail: the people – those who saw time as a line rather than a loop – would be waiting for it.

This CST, set in an alternate dimension in Sanctum’s multiverse, is collaborative rather than competitive in nature (there are no eliminations).  In this War, there are two teams of seven Servant-Master pairs, with each team having one of each Servant class (for example, the Saber of Spades and the Saber of Clubs).  The Servant Ruler, whose Master is the Sanctum Key itself, announces and mediates this conflict.  There are seven catalysts scattered around the world, each one at the site of death of a previous victorious Master.  The two teams attempt to claim these catalysts, and at the conclusion of the war, the victorious team of seven Masters uses the seven catalysts at once to summon the Avenger-class Servant, who holds the Sanctum Key.  If they defeat Avenger in battle, the power of the Sanctum Key grants each of the winners whatever they desire, except for immortality.  When all of the victorious Masters die, Ruler appears again, and the Sanctum War begins anew.

Ruler selects each Master based on if they have a deep desire or wish for something, and each team usually fights to fulfill this desire.  However, in this War, the team known as the Clubs believes that the Sanctum War causes more harm than it cures.  They intend to destroy the Sanctum Key once it is summoned, and while they each have their own desires, they plan to sacrifice them for what they believe is the greater good.  The other team, the Spades, fights to maintain the status quo – they plan to fulfill their desires with the Sanctum Key and allow another Sanctum War to happen after they die.  The Mage’s Association, while they must officially remain neutral, side with the beliefs of the Spades and will do their best to help them discreetly.

There is a total character limit of 14 Masters, with 2 at maximum available per person, one for each team.  This will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis, and you may reserve a slot as long as you then post your Master within 24 hours.  I will distribute the Servants to the Masters.

Submissions should include name, stats (Strength/Endurance/Agility/Mana/Luck, each on a scale from E to EX), skills (you can find a list here, or make up your own), and at least one Noble Phantasm.  I reserve the right to change anything for balancing purposes, and this is also done on a first-come, first-serve basis.  No more than 2 submissions per person, please.

Bio: Kiera has an African family but grew up in the middle of America, Nebraska. From an early age she had a fascination with lions she saw on television or at the occasional zoo her family would visit. When she was eighteen she decided she wanted to become a wildlife expert. She took a job working in the African Savannah and discovered her magical capability in a fight with a group of rebels. She came back to the states the next year to hone her craft and take a safer job.
Above all she loves adventure and anything to give a thrill. Her goal in the sanctum war is to enjoy herself and get a good challenge magically. She has no real desire for ultimate power or any sort of responsibility but possesses the same desire to win as the rest of the mages.

Bio: Will was involved in an accident with a higher-level magic item at age 11 that resulted in the amputation of both of his arms. They were replaced with two prostheses of different materials and appearance, both concealed by his ever-present long gloves and sleeves. These are the artificial center of his mana circuits and the focal point for his spellcasting. Due to his distinct lack of hands, the command seals appeared on his foot instead.

Will is the Conzette family head's nephew via the head's younger brother. However, since the head of the clan is impotent, Will was initially destined to become the heir. His training was greatly accelerated in his early childhood to prepare for the Sanctum war. After his accident, he was discarded as a no-longer-viable candidate and his younger sister was then groomed to become the next leader.

Angered at this, he took his training into his own hands, and he sees his acceptance to the Sanctum war now as a way to prove to his family that despite his accident, he was still worthy.

Bio: Hera grew up in a family of four. Her father specializes in Greek Mythology and teaches at a local private school. Her mother is a lawyer and is almost never home. She also has a little brother named Ares who's 7 years old. Hera is known to be a little pushy and very competitive. She also can't stand "beauty queens", girls who spend almost all of their time trying to make themselves look prettier. Hera tends to get into fights, and finds it difficult to make new friends. The one thing she wants more than anything else is to have her mother's approval. Her mom distinctly doesn't like Hera's tendency to get into fights or her dream of being a NASCAR driver. Hera is currently preparing to attend Clemson University to persue a degree in Engineering.

     The Kieszeń family is a somewhat obscure yet well known magus family for their shared trait of towing around a large object with them almost at all times when seen within magical groups. The  Kieszeń family is one of the various multiethnic families that make up a single group akin to the EU. The Kieszeń are one of the representatives families from Poland. The countries that have members of this group include Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy   , Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Sweden, Austria   
and Bulgaria.
     Maria is the youngest member of her particular branch of the Kieszeń family. At birth, she had her magic circuits bound to a cube roughly one cubic meter in size made out of a composite of porcelain, steel, silica aerogel, and various other substances. The circuit connection forces her to use magic only using the cube as a conduit. it also saps away her access of allotted prana for the day. As, such she is able to fire large magic spells without a prior chant as the incantation is stored inside the cube. It also allows her to highly concentrate large aggregate sums of stored prana to fire as large blasts (akin to a very large laser beam) using a year's worth of magic.
    To use her magic, however, her spirit undergoes "astral relocation", aka focusing on the box and severing her normal senses and ability to control her body. In the cube, she has a different set of senses and she can only access one at any given time. These senses include viewing segments of the electromagnetic spectrum and the ability to detect vibrations. In cube form she can communicate by hijacking local radio waves and focusing it onto another person's phone as a relay.
    Her other main spell is flying around with the cube and fortifying it.
    She is currently attending Cambridge University ((or rather was since Idk where this is)) and studying aerogels and other polymers.
    What she wants to do? Use magic to improve the quality of engineering of nanotechnology. She doesn't care about the key. She's being dragged here as the representative of the EU group as no one actually wants to take care of this issue.

I mean, both appearances are pretty weird looking, and Anata's a bit more gender-neutral, so no, I don't think it's weird. I thought both guys, myself, when I saw the appearances.

But the type of killing he relishes most especially is killing those people that think they're superior... the ones that are perfectly confident in the fact that they are the strongest.... the look on their face when they die fills Nick with pure, unadulterated glee.

Nick's the type of person you do NOT want to meet in a dark alley. Because you'd most likely be more entertaining to him as a corpse than as a person. Nick didn't have the greatest childhood... orphaned at age 2, taken to an abusive foster home, ran away at age 6.... the list goes on and on. But that doesn't really matter anymore, because Nick is doing what he loves most... having fun. His magic is VERY chaotic due to his never having had any education, but he's been in more fights than most people have lived weeks, and he's still standing.

Does he have a wish to grant? Sure. But he's willing to sacrifice that for a chance to beat the hell out of those dang noble-family mages that think they're all that. Nick's laugh will triple in volume as he drags a knife out of their bloody chest; that's a guarantee.
