General Discussion / Re: Explain Your Username!

[If I followed that then mine would be RedStrawberry.]

I get asked this a lot actually. Well, I made my GSM account for school. It was for a project in my computers class, 8th grade. I had computer class 5th period. And technically the account was for both me and my partner so I needed something that he could remember as well. So I decided, since we have computers 5th period, we'll name our account Period5. After the project we had on GSM was completed and we got the grade, my partner completely forgot about it and I took full custody of the account. I continued to play around with it until I started becoming somewhat known on the site so I couldn't change my username since everyone kinda knew it then, so it stuck. So yeah, that's how that happened...

"Yes, now that I agree with." I looked around the yard to see what other interesting characters were locked up in here. There was an older gentleman with glasses and light brown hair, a ristor with blue hair, a boy who seems to be around the same age as me with darker brown hair, a blonde gentleman, another man with peculiar eyes, and a few others just roaming about. Now, I wonder who I should approach first, I've already met Anne. The boy and the ristor instill some curiosity in me, perhaps I should acquaint myself with them first. I glanced at the simple clock on one of the walls of the yard, mealtime was approaching.

I looked at the slip of paper, "Not that I know of. Wait here. I'll go check my cell for one." I calmly walked back to my cell and sure enough I found a slip of similar paper on the floor, the guards always wait until I leave, I swear they're scared of me.

You have been assigned partner: Ryar, Annabelle. Cell B2. Please report to the mess hall with your partner next mealtime. Thank you.

I read it over and headed back to the yard to find Anne again. I showed her the slip, "Apparently we have to go to mess hall together when mealtime comes around."

I looked up at the girl mentioning my name, "Yes, that's me. And who may you be? I don't suppose you could be a tad more specific on that whole partnering thing, can you?" I was curious to what she had meant.

I laid down onto the rough, dusty mattress which creaked on old rusty springs. The ceiling was of concrete bricks, counting them was how I spent most mornings. ...thirty-nine...forty...forty-one...forty-two... I laughed when I reached that number, oh the splendid forty-two. I reminisced to three weeks prior when I was at the hospital, working. I had just seen a patient with hypertension, gave him his meds and let him head on his way, it was a normal day on the job. I was ready to clock out when I heard an excruciating scream, oh it was a lovely high pitch I must say. I decided to run in its direction to see the commotion. There it was, the moment I was waiting for. A woman, screaming. A man, bleeding out, practically dead. Nurses running from every direction. Sirens blaring. It was truly wonderful chaos. I'll admit, it was impulsive, but what did you expect from me? I was getting bored with life. I needed to be spontaneous. I needed excitement. I needed blood on my hands. I walked over and snapped the man's neck in front of his wife, I was putting him out of his misery, that's all. Then I figured she should be next, put her out of her misery too, and so I did. Next thing I know I'm on a roll. After that black out phase of killing I look out at the floor and count forty-two dead bodies. Nurses, police, doctors. Innocent civilians. All I could do was marvel at the blood splatter. It was a work of art on the wall. If only I could frame it. The remaining police slacked on some handcuffs and drove me to the station for questioning.

"State your name, age, and occupation please."
"Xia Deryn, 22, cardiologist."
"Cardiologist? At 22?"
"Don't look so surprised. I'm much smarter than you think. I finished college very early. Next question."
"Alright. Why did you kill those people?"
"I was bored."
"Are you being serious?"
"Of course. What can you expect a gal to do when she has nothing better to do? I needed a change in my life and I saw an opportunity for some fun."
"Oh god...I'm dealing with a sociopath. Not again..."
"Cheer up cop. I can be an exciting person."
"Uh, next question. Do you feel bad about it? Is there any guilt lingering in there?"
"No. Not at all. I regret nothing."
"Of course not. You're a sociopath. Fantastic. Well, you're going to be doing time in Wardwell Jail. Uh, have fun, I suppose."

After I was arrested I got put into this cement cage. Who knows, I may actually enjoy this. I looked back at the ceiling and finished my routinely counting. I heard the door creak open and looked out but saw nobody. I guess the guards are scared of me or something because they never come by to say hi to me, I wonder why. People are so rude these days. I stepped out of Cell C8, the only place I could really call home at the moment. I reached the large wooden doors to the yard and pushed them open, the warm sunlight hitting my face. The dull yellow shine on the ground almost made me happy but I went back to my normal self within seconds as I looked around at the other prisoners. I found a small wooden bench in the corner of the yard and sat down, canvassing the area. Looking up I noticed a girl with black and red hair walking in my direction. Oh, a visitor.

Stela

"Thanks," Stela sighed, "Here I go..." She walked up to the examiner and placed the black box on her neck, remembering the time when she had done the same with Jakob. Stela instantly transformed into a tiger and let out a growl, she pounced the walls and jumped higher than usual. She was much stronger and swift on her feet. Once she had done all she could, she walked over to the examiner, transformed back into human form, and gave the box back. Stela tried to peek into the examiner's notes but could see nothing, "Well, I hope that's all you needed from me. I shall be in the waiting room if I am to be called upon once more." She walked back to her seat next to Irene, "That was a bit tiring. Are you ready for your test?"

I would throw a fit, cry a bit, and then start all over again. Been there, done that.

What would you do if you had to begin engraving your notes in stone instead of writing on paper?

"Hey Irene, how are you doing?" Stela smiled.

Florina

Once the box was placed to Florina's neck, she doubled. Her copy began to run and jump around while Florina watched for a bit, then joining in. She brought every object in sight close to her and then transported them back to their original spots. Florina was also beginning to run extremely fast in a circle within the room before collapsing with weariness. She rose from the floor, and plucked the box from her neck, giving it to Jamie, "How did I do?"
