Sarude

Sarude was completely still when the glass began to move and didn't blink when the shadows began to move. The woman continued yelling, then some more kids, just a little older than Sarude, got out of a helicopter. For the first time since he arrived, Sarude looked up. His bloodshot eyes locked onto the small group of kids that had just arrived. Several kids were having a conversation behind him, but he paid them no attention. A shard of glass from the tornado on the other side of the room stabbed itself into Sarude's side, but he didnt even flinch. With the manner of someone who is absolutely certain of his purpose, he slowly began to stand.

Sarude's bus rolls up to the front gate, which is hanging slightly open after the explosions. It's a full size bus but Sarude s the only person on it aside from the driver, who is doing his best not to make eye contact with his one passenger. Through the gate one can clearly see the craters throughout campus, still steaming. Judging by the smoke, a fire has started somewhere. The bus driver notices none of this, all his attention is focused on the boy in the back of the bus. The bus door creaks open. Without saying a word, Sarude gets up and walks toward the front of the bus. A single bead of sweat drips down the drivers forehead, but he does not move. Sarude steps off the bus. Instantly, the driver floors the accelerator and speeds away, but Sarude doesn't react. He begins to walk toward the school, expressionless and seemingly unaware of the chaos that has overtaken the school.

How did you come to this school?: He lived his life as a regular boy until he turned 13, then he started to hear it.
