I like B since there's less head armor and it's worse for defensive purposes. Definitely B. Also, it looks better. Who needs head armor, am I right?

So I transitioned from GIMP to Paint Tool Sai. Lineart is SO much easier. And brush customization is really nice.

Hey look a sketch of Patchouli in her outfit from Touhouvania. This turned out really well actually. Practicing how to draw hands pays off. Can't wait to get home so I can actually color this.

Figured I should slightly change the thread name for clarity since more people are making their own art threads.

Anyways, here's a grayscale version of the Patchouli sketch since idk how to color without pre-made color palettes. I'll probably have to try the layer modes thing to actually add color.



Kinda sad that I messed up the face from the original sketch though.

As you can see I got extremely lazy with coloring this (I even forgot to color part of the sleeve assdfjhadkf). One day I will learn how to properly color digital art without pre-made color palettes. *sigh*

this is awesome! What did you do to make the colors look so good? I tried coloring over my greyscale cat, but the colors looked kinda weird.
