Leap

Leap shifted in her seat so she could stare out the window. Okay. Going rock climbing the night before a long trip was not the best idea. She rubbed her sore arms and looked at her father who also looked rather uncomfortable.

"How much longer until we get there?" She questioned.

"Less than a minute," replied the taxi driver.

Leap stared out the window as they passed many tall buildings with bright flashing lights. Soon they pulled in front of a large resort.

"Alright, we're here," the taxi driver announced while climbing out of his seat to help unpack the luggage. Leap's dad stiffly exited the cab with Leap not far behind. Leap began to roll the suitcases inside as her father paid for the taxi.

"Aria Resort and casino," Leap read off the door.

"Should we check in or would you like to wait for the rest of the people?" Leap's father asked.

"I'll wait here, but you can check in."

"Do you even know what they look like?"

"Er, sorta. I know what Ben and FF look like."

"Maybe I should wait with you..."

"Dad, I'll be fine. Besides, you probably will wanna take a nap before you head to the office."

"Alright," Leap watched as her dad walked towards the front desk. I wonder if the others are already here.
