Zen suddenly sat up with a jolt and his eyes burst open, both scanning the room independently of each other, like a lizard. After a few seconds they re-centered, and he blinked. He turned around to look at the beagle that was suddenly sleeping on his bed, then he saw the room. Donut crumbs were scattered literally everywhere. His mouth was crusted over with a strange concoction of drool, jelly, powdered sugar and Mountain Dew. He spoke out sharply, to no one in particular:

"...What the f*ck happened here?"
