Anne

So a squirt of water didn't exactly do anything to her, so how about this?

She threw the dagger that was in her hand at the quartz-like Maria in front of her. It dug into her 'stomach' and a long crack formed.

Since force seems to destroy this thing...

Penny teleported right in front of Maria, balancing on the cube, and proceeded to bite her to pieces. After a few minutes, all that remained was a ton of small quartz pieces, a weird silver cube that was flying around randomly and bumping into things, and the dagger.

One blade against two wasn't exactly easy. She was able to slice up one more of his disciples like it was a slice of apple butter while Saber was dealing with the other blade.

Deciding he had enough of being outnumbered when it came to blades, he summoned another blade and found it a lot easier to block the hits. He was still defending more than making attacks.

Henri

Henri had his eyes closed, the Sanctum Key perched on his pinky finger.  His eyes were closed, as if he couldn't tear himself away from his thoughts.

The main reason his eyes were closed, though, was that he wasn't sure he would be able to resist the urge to use the Sanctum Key to kill his enemies if he saw how much danger Cody was putting himself in.  Have to keep my mind on what's important... if Cody lives but the Key isn't destroyed, more people will be hurt...

But wouldn't it be better to grant you and Cody power, rather than someone like Nick?

No...

You're right, it's pointless anyway.  He could never love you.

The phrase "devil's advocate" appeared in some small part of Henri's mind that wasn't swamped by the incessant struggle in his brain.  This fight needs to be over quickly.

Nick

Under the influence of Mad Enhancement, Nick screamed incoherently at his opponent, as blood began to drip from his mouth onto the ground. He was still a corpse, not a perfect servant, and his body could not maintain the strain of mad enhancement or powerful enchantments for long.

It was time, then. There was no more holding back. Grimacing, he hastily backed away and deactivated mad enhancement, as the blood flow volume increased, and he staggered to his knees.

"It's been... F-f-fun, Co-dy." he tried to say, but his voice quavered and shook. He looked 'small.

"But it's o-over now." Heh, it is for me, at least. Maybe he'll get lucky...wouldn't that be something?

UNDEAD RECKONING!

The name of Nick's Noble Phantasm echoed across the hillside, as the ground around him began to vibrate, from a sudden, tremendous amount of heat. Cody and Bacon were forced to jump back.

Nick's skin glowed a deep, true red. Then it melted away.
His muscles, flesh, and organs, suddenly exposed, immediately began to blacken, the color of pitch. They, too, crumbled away, leaving only a human skeleton.

Nick's skeleton, the third layer, glowed a pure white, brighter than the snow, and more blinding than the sun.

The white skeleton charged, heedless of any external stimuli, towards Cody, was was by now several meters away.

((Undead Reckoning: Anti-Unit, EX, Based on both Berserker and Assassin skills
The user's life is sacrificed, and their body destroyed, their form becoming a skeleton. The skeleton lingers for exactly one minute before dying, or until it touches a living human (not servant), whichever comes first. If the skeleton touches said human, they will also die once the timer runs out. Note that the skeleton does not have any of the 10 standard human senses, and instead must track its target through mana signature alone (meaning the user must be very familiar with the target's magic.) Can be used by any Berserker/Assassin double-summon, but this combination is extremely rare (in fact, Nick is the first) and the spell extremely situational, so it is expected that such a noble phantasm will only be used once every eternity or so.))

Caster

"Nice try." Caster snapped his fingers. BRAZEN DOME. As the bright yellow lines began to signify the dome's borders, Caster grabbed Cody by the collar and threw him outside of the boundaries just as the dome shut.

It would have been dark inside if not for the skeleton's body providing a harsh light source. It squirmed around, trying to get a reading of a mana source, but inside their reality marble there was only Caster.

Fifty Seconds. Caster rested his chin in between his index finger and his thumb. That was the last of my mana, and I may not survive this, but I'm not letting some primal noble phantasm get the best of us. This is how I'm going out.

Forty Five.

Thirty.

The skeleton was motionless. It simply stood there, staring into space. There was a faint vibration in the air. In reaction it stared straight up. Curious, Caster looked up as well.

What in the... There was a tiny crack at the top of the dome. After a short pause, there was a more violent vibration. The crack became larger and larger with every impact. That's... That's impossible. The Dome is impenetrable! Soon cracks began to run down the side, and a few golden pieces fell down. Deprived of power, Caster fell to the floor as the dome shattered into pieces.

Fifteen... Seconds...

I'm sorry, Lazarus.

The skeleton immediately got a read on Cody again, who was watching from a few meters away. It immediately made a mad dash straight at him.

Cody Lazarus

W-what?! He let loose a barrage of bullets, but they bounced off the skeleton's body harmlessly. Cody found himself unable to move. Running in the opposite wouldn't contribute to anything.

Five... The gun reverted to a gauntlet.

Four... The gauntlet shifted into a shield.

Three... The skeleton closed in and grabbed hold of the shield as Cody raised it.

Two... It tore it to the side.

One. It reached for his face.

Kirin

Zero.

In a straight line from the tip of his wand to the skeleton's forehead, the temperature shot down to near absolute zero. In that instance, sound waves collapsed. Light gave way to darkness before returning to its normal state. In that moment, Nick's skeleton was crushed by the sheer force of the blast as the area around him scrambled to re-energize itself to conform to the laws of physics.

For a few seconds, there was nothing in sight but a gust of frost. Cody could be heard heavily coughing- a good sign, showing he clearly was alive. When the dust cleared he could be seen, glasses blown into the snow to his right, but otherwise safe. What remained of his attacker was a crushed mass of bones and impossibly cold ice. Under the pressure it crumbled to the ground, the bones collapsing into dust but remaining trapped in the ice.

Cody gave him a dumbfounded look. Kirin smirked.

"What, you've never heard of the Zero spell?"

He exhaled. "...T-thanks, Kirin."

"Let's finish this."
In that moment, there was only silence.

Muramasa

Lunging forward, Murmasa attacked with another pair of lightning-fast sashes, which had been promptly blocked. This was frustrating.

Now that both were dual-wielding, the pace of the battle had changed -- Masamune's defense was stronger, and Muramasa wasn't gaining nearly as much momentum as she'd hoped for. The blades in her hand hummed with energy, thirsty for blood. If this didn't wrap up soon, there wouldn't be any options left...

Four minutes. For minutes since she'd drawn blood. Too long. Her blades were screaming in her hands.

Missed by a hair. Missed by a hair again. How long had this battle been going on? She may as well have been attacking a brick wall, for all the reaction she got -- Masamune's concentration and discipline were completely controlled. She was stronger, and faster, and more agressive, but she still couldn't hit him... it made her murderous.

Splish. Splash.
Speckles of red blood stained the ground. Muramasa's blades, finally satisfied, vanished into thin air.
Her first swing had missed, went wide, but the blade had followed through. It had not been her hand guiding it; the blade drove itself, by its own hunger. Through a strap in her armor, into his, pinning the two servants to each other.

The second blade had pierced through her abdomen to enter her teacher's flesh. As they vanished, there was nothing left to stop the blood, which began to flow torrentially from both their wounds.

"W-why? Why do this, Muramasa?" Her teacher asked. The man seemed genuinely concerned.

Muramasa didn't answer. She only smiled. She, like her blades, was satisfied.

Madeline

As the dome shattered below them, the dagger of blood flew towards her with a hatred greater than mortal description. She blocked the front with a forcefield, but midair it circled around and pierced her through her back... but it did not stop. It ripped straight through. As she grasped her chest in pain it flung itself through the air and tore through her right arm on a will of its own, ripping it to shreds. She was helpless as the one small blade of pure blood tore her body to pieces. Though she was merely a machine, she screamed in pain, experiencing firsthand what a mortal death felt like.

Piece by piece her body collapsed. Nicole managed a smile as she approached, the knife returning to her side. Amid the dust and metal components, however, she could see something glowing from within the flying wreckage for just a moment.

It was some small object, glowing the same gold as her eyes.

Suddenly, the parts on the ground began to float upwards to it. She looked down at them, but the glowing core had vanished once she looked back up. Rapidly the pieces formed back together... behind her.

There was absolutely no opportunity to react. In one deft motion she was stabbed through the back of the neck, the key making a satisfying CRACK as it shattered into little pieces and faded away. Madeline, body completely rebuilt, pulled out the spear, the job done.
In that moment, there was only silence.

Nicole

All at once, the key that had been keeping Nicole prisoner broke, shattered at the hands of the robot. As she felt the limitless mana under her command fade away to virtually nothing, she realized... she felt tired. Really tired.

It may have had something to do with the blood flowing out of the gaping wound in her neck, courtesy of said robot.

"M-m-monster." She choked out, her voice ragged and somewhat muffled. "I u-used to think you were like m-me... but you're a real mon-nster. I hope y-you burn for everything."

Madeline

"My objective is completed. Speaking to you or giving heed to any of your statements is not a requirement." They both slowly landed. She tilted her head.

The part of her mind that closely resembled a human seemed to seize control.

With the spear she pierced Nicole through the skull, ensuring a painless death, then dropped her weapon.

Objective complete. The target is neutralized.

Robin

Robin watched as Madeline finally ended the battle. Robin sagged, worn out from the enchantment and the battle. Dozens of explosion sites lay around the area, from the deaths of dozens of sabers and several other servants of hearts. Robin took out his piece of the key, a simple object containing so much power.

Interesting... how such a simple object can hold so much destruction.

Yes Robin... take me in... TAKE THE KEY!!!

Robin threw his piece onto the ground, sheathing his blade. For a second, anyone watching would've thought he was about to use the key. But instead, Robin drew his twin daggers, a gift from his father.

With this final blow, father, let your soul rest in peace. Your cause has been completed.

No... I AM MORE POWERFUL! TAKE THE KEY!!!

Robin drove both blades downwards, and time seemed to slow as one blade became light as the air but as strong as the heavy wind, and the other as delicate as a shard of ice but just as deadly. The two elements combined, a freezing wind blew over everyone as the paired daggers flew in a deathly arc. Separate, they may have been too weak to complete the job. But together, merged and wielded by the son of their creator, they became powerful beyond comprehension. As the tips of the blades collided with the fragment of the key, at first the key stood unscathed, before the daggers reemerged and uncharged into the key, sending a fatal blow through it's surface and ultimately, defeating it.

No...

The key imploded, blowing into small sparkling pieces of metal that sparkled throughout the area, as the already weakened voice vanished, completely, from Robin's head. The daggers melted away, one tuning into ice and shattering, the other merging into the icy wind and disappearing forever, it's job, completed.

Robin stood up, a burden lifted off of his heart. He would no longer be saddened by his father's death, having avenged him and his death. Robin felt heat across his lower abdomen, on the side, and as he looked down, a gash in his side was bleeding profusely. The sword enchantment had hidden it from him, but Avery's weapons had managed to scrape him. Robin suddenly paled, his legs threatening to go out from under him. He managed to let out a weak croak, the enchantment now completely expelled from his body, and began to sweat heavily.

"Help..."

Faces began to flash through his eyes, Robin reliving his life as he began to slowly edge away from the land of life. Faces he didn't recognize went past him, members of the Spade Faction that Robin had never known. Nat. Zoraya. Will. Avery. Audrey. Avery. Jack. Unfamiliar faces converged with more recognizable scenes. Robin and Tanik playing in the park with some of the local kids, Robin's mother and father standing nearby holding hands, the family enjoying this rare moment. Kirin. Riza. Anne. Cody. Roger. Masamune. Kiera. Hera. Henri. Maria. Celtchar. Madeline. Nick. Nicole. Tanik. And finally... his father. Robin's face became blurry with salty liquid, although he had little idea of why they came. He was prepared for death. Robin collapsed, although he no longer felt it. A hazy daze came over him, and Robin closed his eyes. The light hurt. And there, lay Robinat Sactum, moments away from finally leaving; life.

Hera

...Death haunts me. Hera looked down upon Robin's dead body. As soon as she'd seen him fall to the ground bleeding, she'd known it was over for him. She heard footsteps behind her as she knelt beside the non master's bleeding body. Moving her hand over his face, she closed his eyes.

Cody Lazarus

It began to snow again. He took out the white key.

In his mind, Ruler was strangely silent.

Without hesitation he placed the key on the ground and shot it once with the peacemaker, causing it to shatter into pieces and fade away quietly.

...That's it, then.

He looked to his left. Robin was dead. Hera was kneeling beside his body. To his right, Kirin was leaning on a wall, deprived of energy. Behind him Caster was lying on the ground- drained, but alive.
In that moment, there was only silence.

Henri

Henri opened his eyes slowly, hearing the fighting die down.  The golden key was still in his hands.  He halfheartedly tried to bend and break it.  Of course, nothing happened.  It would take a little more effort to destroy something this powerful.

He drew on more power, magic which he would need to destroy his key, and the new magic circuits that had been wired into his body and brain immediately latched onto the key itself.  It began to glow, filling Henri with a sense of awe and power, but he managed to shut it down before it could go any further.

He spent about thirty seconds shivering, cold sweat pouring down his back, trying with all his willpower to not draw on the key further.

After his heartbeat had slowed down a bit, he slowly lifted the trident from his back.  He couldn't use magic without the Key trying to take over, working its way further into his magic circuits before they became indistinguishable.  But the trident itself was enough.

He closed his eyes and stretched his arm out in front of him, the key hanging on the tips of his fingers.  With every second that passed, images were brought to his mind of futures that would be possible with the key, impossible without it.  He did his best to shut them out.

Henri brought down the points of the trident on his own hand.  He screamed in pain, and his eyes jolted open.  The tips of three of his fingers were gone, but the Sanctum Key lay on the ground, now bloodstained.  He smiled slightly, but tears were coming out of his eyes.

"Spark."

A fireball flew out of his mangled hand onto the key, which glowed slightly red.

"Spark.  Spark.  Spark."

The Key turned a bright orange color and began vibrating.

"Spark.  Spark.  Spark.  Spark.  Spark.  Spark!  Spark!  SPARK!"

The Key's outlines were blurry, indistinct.

"CRUDUS!  CRUDUS!  CRUDUS!  CRUDUS!  CRUDUS!"

The Key was gone.  Only a smoking hole in the ground.  Henri tottered, then fell on the ground, his mana stores drained, his hand bleeding into the hole he had made.

This is my gift to you.
